I'm so saddened by the bitterness and resentment I so often hear from Spanish game developers, caused by terrible working conditions, an unstable job market and insiduous corruption. Y'all deserve better.

The government (and country) does not take game development as a valid career choice. There are a few studios and a lot of very talented people working independently. The most ambitious people either left the country or are working remotely on international projects.

It feels several steps behind Spain, who at least has had several success stories and other branches of international studios open shop there.
