If you click this link, you would be asked to subscribe to my YT. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8WlgSftVU1KI_KxrzdrUEA?sub_confirmation=1 … On one hand, if I am clear, maybe it's just a convenience. Specially if the text of the link says 'subscribe to my Youtube'. On the other hand, it feels forceful. What do you think?

Without context (like in a profile or so) it would feel intrusive. I would expect a link to the channel, which I would check and see if it's something I want to subscribe to.

Doesn't every link have some sort of context? :-p Btw, just to make sure I understand, are you saying that you would NOT consider it wrong/evil for me to make this my Twitter link?

If it's the first time I have heard of you and I want to know more, I would click the link to check out the channel, not subscribe right away. Part of what makes it feel intrusive is that you can see a glimpse of it, but the pop-up is in the way.

I wouldn't call them wrong/evil, the words are too strong. I would find it uncomfortable.

To be clear, I don't think I would subscribe to any channel without looking into it first.
