I'm always excited to see new customizable card games appearing until I realize I don't have the community to play them in, especially now. I fear for the ones that will end up with no supported and accessible ways to play online.

That said, Vampire: The Masquerade Rivals looks great. A more accessible refresh of V:TES, still geared for multiplayer which also allows 2 players. Prebuilt decks, plays 4 out of the core box.pic.twitter.com/PEKZfhwHdv

Rivals is not really a vtes-refresh. They are both in the same universe. 5th edition vtes is about to happen by

Oh I’m aware they are different games but they share core concepts that go beyond the theme. Multiplayer game with assigned targets politics, schemes, votes. Seems more accessible due to the lack of keywords.

Rivals is definitely more accessible. Vtes isn't good because it's a simple game. I think it's the Dune of CCGs :)

I've been playing it since 2007, and still have things left to explore. The First Blood decks are a good starting point for new players:https://www.blackchantry.com/products/current-products/first-blood/ …

I'm aware but I would need a group of like-minded players, which isn't feasible now and I haven't seen a comfortable way to play it online.
