Your setup looks so cool! It makes me also want to explore space :-O

I liked it too - while it worked! Now the joystick is drifting and it is very frustrating go in a straight line or take pictures since it won't sit still. I might have to return it and get a gamepad instead. :(

Oh no. Have you tried it in VR as well? Or is regular screen to prefer?

I've played once in VR and it was cool, but I was new to the game and still had to take breaks to google things. The notion of SCALE! This was before starting to take these screenshots, not sure how that would work.

IMO VR is still too much of a gimmick. A game can add a VR-mode that you try once and say "that was cool" (that's best case ofc), then you keep playing the regular PC version.

For the most part I agree. It is still too much hassle and if it is optional it's easy to skip.

I think it's a problem even if it's the only way to consume a game. I don't think I know anyone that has owned VR that aren't just having it collect dust on a shelf now (except a very small number of vr developers)

Agreed. From my feed I get the feeling that the one that gets people involved and interested in coming back is Beat Saber.

Yes, same here. It's weird though. I spent so much time and money on guitar hero - back in the days - that it's ridiculous. But I cannot get into Beatsaber. It's either too easy or too hard, and there's always a specific section that I can never get past

Found a game on Oculus Quest last time that *really* got to me though! That triggers all my buttons and have my smile like a maniac. It is "Tetris Effect" ...and I'm not even that big of a Tetris fan

Oh I still have to try that! I love Tetsuya Mizuguchi's games, synesthesia isn't used enough in videogames.
