Do you trade away games you rate highly? I just sold a game I would have classified as a favourite. But it has a big rules overhead and I've only got it to the table 3 times since I got it in September 2017.pic.twitter.com/qa6IQ7earR

Absolutely, if I don't intend to play it again, or if the box takes too much space. Even more likely if there is an app.

I know we've talked about this before, but too much space is such a big deal for me. It's why I haven't delved too deep in Lacerda's games. I also think if reading the rulebook is super daunting, I'll move it on. The dread of reading the rulebook is hard to overcome.

I'll check the rulebooks and learn the rules before buying the games, so that hasn't really been a surprise for me. Pax Transhumanity was different, though. I knew I would be alone in Galway for two months so I brought it as a puzzle/challenge.

I used to do that. Read rulebooks, reviews etc before I bought any game. But somewhere along the time, I stopped and just gave into the impulse purchases.

I find that too much of a risk. But then again, I'm someone who reads rulebooks for research - and for fun, sometimes!

Again, I used to do that too! But something happened... Maybe I just got old.

I find it better than the alternative. Don't want to throw money or games away and trade is such a hassle, especially when it involves shipping.
