I literally NEVER said it was TOO hard. I know SO MANY other RPGS. I know Blue Rose, I love fiasco, I play SO MANY RPG's. 13th Age is one of my favorites but that doesn't meant that learning new games isn't hard. Learning new games is hard for most people.https://twitter.com/TalespinnerEU/status/1265220885876822016 …

Being honest about something being hard isn't alienating people. It's setting them up for success with realistic expectations. Why would I want to lie to them and say something is easy when it's not?

In Germany I was pleasantly surprised to see these stats on the boxes which listed how complex the game was (family vs expert), strategy vs luck and quiet vs noisy.pic.twitter.com/5OZ4EnKZao

I think that last stat is a descriptor of the level of personal conflict the game is likely to cause between family members, not the amount of noise players will generate :D
