It’s interesting to think that work is one big reason why so many people move, away from their family... I wonder if there should be a moral argument for letting people work from wherever when possible (or at least provide the choice)

Could be great for local businesses and general economy (spending in a more diverse set of smaller businesses which increase the income of more people) / also good for extended tourism if you could work from elsewhere for a while (e.g. Portugal?

Cars did a similar thing, when they pushed more people into the outskirts of cities (suburbs) and created more local businesses (in some places at least) but people still mostly worked "in the centre". WFH sounds like a logical next step to it, ironically decreasing the use of

I'm very happy here in Ireland but I would move to somewhere with a cheaper rent and a good boardgame culture where I could join/start regular playtests.
