Question for you tabletop connoisseurs: are there good examples of roll-and-write games with social interaction?

The tension and deduction comes from the players only having to reveal where they are from time to time. Aliens can move further, but don't want to look suspicious. You end up wanting to track everyone. Once you try to attack everyone knows you're an alien, so the game changes.

Absolutely. I think the only things that wouldn't work in the base game are the secret drawing of a card at every turn and to see if the escape hatch works.
