Quarto. 2 player abstract. Pick a piece for your opponent to place, both trying to make patterns which match one of the seseveral characteristics of the pieces. Builds ln tic tac toe. Very light, nice production.pic.twitter.com/WRU1OYoGVB

Viticulture: Essential Edition. Worker placement game about making wine. Overall a good production but an unremarkable design. Would rather play Vinhos.pic.twitter.com/PEuATQ5XqU

I also found Viticulture uninspiring. I played two games in one night, but never felt the need to play again. I remember in the second game basically mining the decks to get the cards I wanted/needed.

Played first edition twice years ago. Did not enjoy.

It felt like it was taking a very standard worker placement template and not doing much with it.
