Hey game devs who have worked on canceled projects: do you put them on your resume, and if so, how? Is there some kind of standard way that we do this? Asking for a friend, I've been lucky enough to not have this personal experience to draw from.

I listed a game in my portfolio when the first trailers were released but it has been canceled since and the studio has erased any mentions of it so I'm not sure what to do. It was a year of my life and had some impressive stuff that I don't have in other projects.

:( Any chance you can get the rights back and look elsewhere?

Unfortunately not, and it was a team effort so I wouldn't feel comfortable even asking for it. An unlisted youtube video is all I have left.

I’m curious if you wouldn’t mind sending me the link. Top secret :)

No secrecy needed, it's still on my portfolio. Hope the video works for you: https://gamesbymanuel.com/portfolio/bait-under-the-surface/ …
