I love the concept behind Keyforge, but the local scene is demotivating. No casual play, only tournaments. They've bought a ton of decks to find the best one, so they're unbeatable. There are formats to combat this, but they're not interested.
Yeah, if you need to buy specific decks online it's not that accessible or casual.

Its not needed, but $30 is very accessible. Come on the cheapest mtg decks are over $100 and modern the only non rotating format is min $400 investment. The game is completely accessible.

Accessible doesn't just mean "cheap". It means I show it to my friends, they ask how they can get into it and I tell them "look for a deck on eBay" or whatever that's it. That's too much of a hassle.
