Yeah, it'll get clicks, but I'm tired of hearing about "must-buys" from Gen Con. Just. No. Can we find a less blatantly consumerist way to phrase this type of anticipation?

How could anyone take that step if no one bought it? In this model they would show up to cons and be introduced to games there? Why would they go if they haven't played any games yet?

I've thought a bit more about this topic. Manuel isn't wrong but consumerism and enthusiasm are symbiotic. One side needs to buy the games to introduce to the other side, who often then join the symbiote and perpetuate the hobby. Games are first and foremost products. (Cont'd)
