Great play of Pax Pamir 2. Two failed dominance checks led to an early instant victory. For ME. Review here, in case you still don't know why this game is so great: https://spacebiff.com/2019/05/28/pax-pamir-4/ …pic.twitter.com/W5Z38L5Q0g

Returning to Pax Emancipation was interesting. Tinkered more with the sandbox, still came away wondering how it could have better implemented its semi-coop systems. What a peculiar design. Review here: https://spacebiff.com/2019/01/26/pax-emancipation/ …pic.twitter.com/fmWUKT0XNn
This week's play of Gandhi featured 85% fewer rules mistakes. I'm really liking it.pic.twitter.com/YlHZU48YZR
Will there be a written review of Gandhi at some point? I realise Game of Life: Legacy might interfere with reviews at the moment.
Current plan is next week. Baby permitting, obviously.
Well... you may have noticed that I only wrote one review last week. The plan was to write five.
My own copy of GoL: Legacy is arriving end of September. I fully expect to cease functioning in any meaningful way. I might die.
Your first? Thankfully this was my second. It always helps to go into a game with an understanding of the mechanics.
Indeed, my first. I have had friends tell me it gets easier second time round. But I reckon if I make it sound impossible in the run up, maybe it'll just be difficult when I actually have to run through it.
I heard the automa is nonsense at first.
But it ramps up very suddenly. First turn: PLAY WITH YOURSELF. Thirteenth turn: STOP PLAYING WITH YOURSELF.
Different rules at different stages of the game? Ugh, I hate rules exceptions.
