Enjoyable read, and I agree! My preferred way of designing games is all about giving the players tools that they can use or combine to create their own solutions. If not, everyone will have the same experience.

I'm not familiar with Twine but I get the feeling it's only meant to tell stories and it doesn't allow the players to be very creative in their approach.
