I will say it is surprising how often we have to discuss which words to censor or leave alone for our online services at work. Also, I suspect a lot of goofy stuff as tabletop companies transition to digital companies.

I've worked with dictionaries before and more often than not, it's something you buy. Nobody wants to write one from scratch (though I did - waste of time!), and this is a word that very likely appears in every one. I agree that they should have trimmed it down further.

In my (limited) experience with tabletop nobody pays for *anything.* Which I think will be the root cause of these snafus now and forever.

In the Pre-Launch event today I saw some names that were obviously made of combined parts of words, so this one could appear even if they removed it from the base dictionary.

Lots of them! http://www.thefreedictionary.com/words-that-start-with-rac … In the previous studio we had randomly generated names based on joining syllables together and we frequently had to clean them up because the results would be questionable in the many languages the game was in.
