I'm working on a card game that draws a lot of inspiration from Cribbage. Tell me what you love or hate about Cribbage!

The main thing I dislike about trick-taking games is that they have their own vocabulary and many rulebooks assume I'm familiar with it so they become unreadable.

Is there any specific vocab you've noticed left out? (Cribbage isn't a trick-taking game btw, but still useful feedback.)

Oops, I might be mistaking it for another one. As for the terms, I could tell you in Portuguese, which is where I ran into it, but let's see. "Trick" is one of them for sure, and quite important. :)

"Bomb", names for poker hands, being forced to play a card of a specific suit (they got really angry when I didn't follow this rule that they hadn't mentioned, it was just assumed everyone knew).
