To expand this game you buy random, predefined decks that you can't change. Even the card backs have its name. This is huge.
I don't have the money to buy random boosters in search for the best cards, or the time to try to make decks, test them out and iterate. This change makes it so that the deck you buy is tournament ready from the start.
This makes it potentially more accessible than the LCG business model, prevents netdecking (copying decks you see online) and evens out the playing field.
The player who put in the most money doesn't have a better chance. It also means that you always have decks ready to go, and the more decks, the more variability.
This makes sure every deck you buy is viable and gives you a reason to play - at least to try it out! Very different from a randomized booster which is useless most of the time.
And the concept of every deck being unique? That's mind boggling. I'd love to know how they're being generated and manufactured.
