In last night's game session, for the first time ever, we put a game away after set up just because the rulebook was so poor. We couldn't figure out how the scoring worked at all. Disaster.

Haha. Doesn't belong to a designer I know! I criticised another rulebook a few months back, only for the editor to turn up in the thread. I felt terrible!!

In this case the rulebook did say it was the shirt version and you'd have to go online for the full rulebook. Which might make it worse?

I think you can't assume everyone can/will go online. You should be able to decipher the rules enough to play. You guys play alot of games which means that's a bad sign. I praise anyone who has the proper rules but also offers a link to rules explanation

Yeah. Imagine if you were a casual player who took a punt on this - you may find yourself turned off games altogether. Anyway, it was just disappointing. The game looks gorgeous and the mechanics seem clever. We'll try again, I'm sure!!
