My heart is bursting. On the eve of my first child's birth, my dad - who's been in prison nearly my entire life - was granted clemency. He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families. My heart breaks for the families that can never get their loved ones back.

Why should you be able to see your dad if those sons and daughters of those who died in the commission of a crime he was involved with dont ever get to see theirs? Can you actually give a good answer to those families? This is what justice should have been but is now been undone

"Died in the comission of a crime he was involved with" Seems like you know his dad never actually killed anyone. Should we throw his son in prison too? His wife? The man who sold the other perpetrators the guns? How far exactly does this "guilt by association" stretch?

If you hand the person a weapon knowing they intended to commit murder, you are just as guilty

Ah so you're saying the getaway driver provided the weapons and knew the robbery was going to turn deadly? You must have some info in this case the rest of us do not, please share.

If you participate in a crime, and the crime turns deadly, you are just as guilty as the trigger puller. If you give someone a gun to commit a crime there is at least a good chance it will result in murder, so you are guilty

Wait so the getaway driver gave them the gun they used? Cause im pretty sure that didnt happen in this case and it seems like you have no idea what you're talking about.
