Our gut can be our greatest asset if we learn to trust it. It can tell us what to avoid or when to take an opportunity. The key is listening and acting, without self doubt.

This is a problem. If your intuition says you should avoid exercise. Or avoid sleeping on time... There are times that our intuition is broken. Or intuition is not what we think it is.

I think that’s true. The skill is knowing when to listen to it and when to be disciplined. It’s not straightforward, but perhaps when meeting another person, with all the subconscious body language which goes on, it’s one case where we can trust it more.

I’m really interest in getting better at listening to my intuition. As I’ve got slightly older I’ve realised that I’ve basically suppressed it and I used to do a lot of things in life that went against my intuition to make money. That all changed when I left the big city.

This cannot be said enough. I recently re-learned this the hard way. ALWAYS trust your gut
