*Thread* I voted remain in 2016 and I was hugely disappointed by the result at first, seeing it as a victory for the right. But soon the cheap, condecending, and outright idiotic comments from remainers started rolling in and have continued ever since. They've changed my mind.

No, you idiot. I could make a better case for Brexit than you could. On balance I thought we were better off in. But now we must make the best of it. You should still ask yourself why Twitter suddenly gets very similar “ I used to be Remain, but no longer” posts. Very suspicious

I’m feeling similar and I started feeling that way before other people started tweeting similar things recently. Let me explain: 1) the constant abuse of Corbyn and his supporters by
#FBPE types has made me think more about the EU 2) the thing that made me vote remain was 1/ -
things like freedom of movement and employee protections. Although I appreciate FoM I don’t think losing it would stop people working overseas. As for employee protections the government allows so many loopholes such as zero hours. 3) My main concern is stopping austerity 2/

which was a political choice by the Tories and the LibDems. Over Christmas I’ve seen lots of homeless people which has increased my anger at the government. I care more about a change in government than the EU! 3/

I’d still rather remain and reform but my first priority is a Labour government to end this austerity mess. But for me the worst case is Tories in and we’re out of the EU. I don’t mind being out the EU if we have an austerity ending Labour government 4/4 END
