NEW: The tensions in #loudouncounty, on full display at last night's board meeting, echo a larger battle playing out across the US over how public schools are addressing the topic of racism with students. Cheering and clapping = disruption and the end of a meeting. Absolute insanity in Loudoun county.

Boards constantly arrest people all the time for talking past the timer or 'trespassing' by hanging around after a meeting is officially called over. Those in 'power' can no longer control the community so they disperse and arrest. FIRE THE BOARD!!

How can this not be a problem for LoCo Sherriff's office? VERY disappointed to see these actions being taken. The School Board works for and is paid by the taxpayers of LoCo. They get a platform to speak.

That puts the police in an awful position. They lawfully ended the meeting—did they not? Next step: recall the board members who did.
