We don't put up statues. If you have a problem with circumcision, bring it to the people who practice that act.

People around here liked my idea the last time I posted it.
-
What idea? Stopping circumcision or putting up a statue?
-
And what should the Church Of Satan do exactly?
-
Put up a gruesome statue of an Abrahamic infant circumcision rather than a statue of Baphomet. It strikes deeper to the heart of Abrahamism and puts people on the defensive rather than just making them angry.
-
The church of Satan never put up a statue of Baphomet, if you want to put up a statue about circumcision, start a gofundme and do one yourself.
-
You don't seem to be a very committed secularist. This organization has been positive to my proposals before.
-
What proposal? Putting up a statue?

It's tricky to criticize or condemn religious beliefs. For ex: circumcision was actually a medical safety procedure. Back then, penis's were unwashed, filthy and infected with bacteria&fungus which ended up killing women by infections. So circumcision was an old fashion cure.
-
There is ZERO anthropological evidence for this. Circumcision started as a castration or human sacrifice ritual. Genital mutilation under stone age conditions is very dangerous.
-
Being absolute, is never a good position to take. There is evidence. You're just not looking in the right places. In fact, its still used to prevent infections between people in our era. You also claim its very dangerous being done in the stone age.
Where is your evidence?
