The last 15 minutes of the first movie were some of the scariest I’ve seen in the last decade or so. I was actually watching through my fingers. Can’t wait for the second one!

I watched DEATH LAID AN EGG (1968), which is nominally a giallo set on a poultry farm, but in execution feels like something far more strange and almost abstract, an agitated, dissonant whatsit. Good twist and good ending, too.
