this honestly just sounds like you guys are waiting for the furor to die down so you can resume donations like what information could you possibly glean re: the motivations of these republicans that you aren't already aware of?

That's scar what happened last time... They suspended the PAC and then it magically started back up again quietly without a word as to what was different or why. It's beyond words.

Stop donating to Republicans. They have not learned their lesson.

Politicians have not learned anything ... The facts that companies can "donate" to them, then have them make the rules they want or they will stop the donations ... PAC and super PAC. So it's more about money, not politics ... I might be wrong ... I'm from Denmark.
