    Pew is focused on how to get the borrowers to pay. How about reducing the total volume of student loans, especially for degrees and colleges whose students have high default rates?

    Going vegetarian only reduces emissions by 2.1% 4% from the food, but rebound (vegetarian food cheaper => increase in other consumption => slightly higher CO₂ emissions) lowers this reduction by 1.89%.

    Rather than try to change Saudi Arabia's government could we just reduce its ability to buy lobbyists and influence in Washington DC? Also, speed up the transition to electric cars so that Saudi Arabia won't matter any more.

    The bad new is that there are nowhere near enough people bright enough to hire to spend $5 tril/year to work on hard research problems. Having said that: I'd fund development of rejuvenation therapies as my first priority. After that, research on how to boost human intelligence.
