You dont need to literally say "I'm sorry" to apologize for something or to show you feel remorse. That's childish. And if he did say he was sorry, you'd all say "sorry isn't enough Mr Ck!"

If you were a parent, you would recognize the value in stating the words I’m sorry, and would teach your children that lesson.

The important take away from this particular example is even if it happened years ago, even if you are remorseful you will lose your career. The more we see the this consequence hopefully these men will start thinking about their actions.

His sorry isn’t for us, he needs to say that to his victims. He just made a public statement to us in which he says he was remorseful. That’s enough at least for me. If he didn’t say sorry directly to his victims then that is an issue.
