I’m sorry Tom, but outperforming in a risk on environment in 2019 and 28 days into 2020 does not mean investors see bitcoin as a better safe haven than gold. Investors choose to store about $7T in gold and $0.17T in bitcoin.

Comparing bitcoin to stock indexes is stupid. Compare it to individual stocks. Plenty of stocks are outperforming bitcoin and many outperformed it last year. Who’s sitting here thinking should I invest in bitcoin or the S&P 500?
