Lock them up. That would happen if you or I ignored a subpoena.
-
absolutely that’s what would happen if it were you or I.

What I've argued from the beginning. If you don't agree with the subpoena, you object to it, not ignore it. I cannot ethically tell a client ignore a subpoena. The result is contempt and then jail!
-
Because it’s before a Court. The Judge can have police arrest. It’s not in Court yet just in Congress which cannot arrest w/o a judge.
-
That argument that they can't is absurd bc there would never be a point to subpoenas if you can just ignore them. But... the right will fall for it.
-
I thought Congress could have congressional Sargent at Arms arrest
-
My understanding yes, plus the courts if they want. I'm guessing they will go through the courts to look on the up and up politically.

2018 was all about the Dems retaking the house and regaining some power and now they’re refusing to use it!

Yes and if certain police do not arrest them then arrest those for obstruction of justice.

It’s what would happen if the GOP was the majority

They're going to arrest them and fine them $ 25,000 a day. I think they'll show up.
-
A fine would be meaningless to them and they probably wouldn’t pay it anyway. A jail cell is the only thing that will get their undivided attention.
-
I've never seen anyone get out of paying court fines. They will garnish and suspend their driver's license
