But why is all this anger aimed at UIDAI and not the actual pages that leak the information? Is UIDAI responsible for these thirdparties?
-
What if your bank account details get leaked? Wouldn't you ask the bank for an answer? Coz they are the one responsible for protecting your sensitive information. Apply some logic dude
-
It depends how they get leaked, if i give my hotell permission to make a copy of my passport its not my contry's fault if it gets leaked. So my question is still, why is it UIDAI's fault that thirdparties are leaking information?
-
The data got leaked because of the flaws in the system established by uidai.
-
Ok, so do have any documentation regarding these flaws and how they connect UIDAI to the thirdparty leaks? Unlike others i dont trust random comments on twitter. And im not indian hence my question in the first place.
-
Finally some sources and not just facepalming. But still, to mee it looks like the problem is the human factor (employees leaking data, low internal security etc), a security issue indeed but I still havent seen any proof of a breach in the actual database.

There can be only one explanation - UIDAI CEO is a bot. (someone hand me a disintegrating device plz..)
-
If you are implying that
@ceo_uidai has artificial intelligence (after his remarkable deposition before#SupremeCourt of India) as a substitute for the real thing, then I will have to agree with you.#AadharCard#dataprivacy#ModiMadeDisaster -
Couldn't agree more and yes that's exactly what I was implying. Though it still baffles me as what may tantamount to lying under oath for
@ceo_uidai. Only Time shall tell.

Irony is you are French citizen helping Indians in understanding adhaar loopholes and we are not even bothered to make it secure but continously giving non logical assurances. Its like cat drinking milk with closed eyes. Thanks Mr. Robot.

And the funny thing is , they told that it's protected by 2048 bits encryption , and it'll take more than the lifetime of Universe to crack it ... They think we'll try to brute-force it don't they

.. only if it worked that way
