Democracy has lost all it's meaning. They think they don't need to answer to anyone. It's sad that our leaders, who swore to protect us, are violating our privacy for financial gains. As a loyal & honest tax payer, I don't think we get enough for what we are asked to pay. Agree?

Pretending everything is okay, won't make everything okay. People need to understand that. Closing your eyes and thinking no one can see you, just because you can't see anyone, that's stupidity.

Akash, by mistake I tapped 'disagree button'. Tell me how can i correct it?

It's okay, you can't change your vote once it is casted. :)

The problem in this country is that the literacy rate on technology is very poor. Politicians are the worst. And more than 70% if the population can be considered ignorant and innocent when it comes to understanding the dangers of sharing personal data. Sad but true
-
Not sure if literacy helps. If in doubt, ask urself how many literate, even tech/legally literate people do you know who enrolled for/linked
#Aadhaar even before the brazen thuggish blackmail started? And how many who could have resisted went crawling to submit to it instead? -
@Scimitar_SS How true. The very purpose of education is defeated when the educated relenquish their own identities & become shadows of the powerful & corrupt.

A lot of websites and apps use One Signal for push notifications. They provide this tool for free for the app owners/developers. In exchange they will use the data. Do you think end user has much choice regarding his/her data?
-
This is not the case of Narendra Modi app alone. This is the case of all the apps using Clevertap solutions - Sony Zomato Cleartrip BookMyShow Domino's Star Would you mention them too? I would guess no!
-
I thought the same... they can’t be using different jars for different apps...

Majority of Indians doesn't care about personal data, national wealth itself looted to max. GDPR ll b effective from 2018 May, so Namo should nt be avble in EU . Else they would have to pay m/billions as fine for the violation of the policy.Similar policy exists in US also
