If you explain how to get a password publicly, is a password still needed?pic.twitter.com/GkDFw0xrjK

Consider this scenario. 1. You download E-Aadhar. 2. The file gets stolen somehow. Now the attacker will need to know *your* name and *your* year of birth to open that file. So it just adds an additional layer of security. What's wrong with that?

They are striking a balance between having strong password and ease of use. Please note that if you keep a strong password, must older people in India will simply ask the help of another person, so it is better. Vodafone has tried a method which is harder to crack but failed!

Vodafone sent half password in mail and half as dob. But it was very difficult to keep searching mail for password. Anyway, we should understand that technology should be built around people's capabilities. Not the stupid other way round. (People trying to adjust around tech pbs.

Except you need it he registered mobile number to be able download the document in the first place and second - the old password for the PDF was your 6 digit postcode. So yes, it’s more secure now. You were born yesterday, I take it.

I don't find it sufficient! It's a guess work, nothing more! Any statistician would say the probability of finding the correct password is pretty low!
