The card itself does have a photo on it. But very often the voter lists have names misspelled or incorrectly written.

Yes... But mostly the photo is not recognizable then you can show any other valid ID card

Yes. Yes. No. During voting I did not use my voter ID I used my passport for identification. Any govt issued ID can be used for voter identification, except ration card.

I doubt. They rarely verify the picture at the time of voting. Just checking the name. Photos are also obsolete. More than 15 - 20 years old.

Photo is black and white and nobody can recognize anybody with that photo.

Yes they have a voter list with the same pic and voter Id ref. no which they use to validate the Voter ID card on the day of voting. Why do you ask?

The photos on our Voter ID is too horrible that even we can't recognise our own photo.

The voter ID card also have Name, Address and ID number that can be matched however Indian govt employs a better randomisation technique to not let the people even do the guesswork and that technique is called... misspelling.

I got your point. But you can not just randomly vote from any location of your city/District. One has to vote only in the sub-Region, Sub-Municipality Area with the different parts of City. That makes it little difficult for masqueraders.

Yes they use it ,sme time voters have more than 5 voters card's in the same name .this is how the voters card's government issued without http://knowing.so the voters can vote it different places.pic sme times it's not clear.sme time they check identified by moles .
