Today, phone makers implement methods to distinguish a Chinese phone from another or to check if you are connected to the Chinese network. It allows them to treat a Chinese user differently from the other users.

My main feeling is that today people don't care: "You know it's China, it's like that...", "It will never happen in my country...". But what if phone makers implement an isIndianPhone method or isUsPhone method? There are no technical obstacles to that and you will not know it.

So even if it's not happening in your country or you are not directly concerned by it, please do not consider this as a normal situation. Distinguish someone because of his country is not normal.
