I have yet to understand why people install phpmyadmin at all if they run their own server (as opposed to letting other n00bs install sites on shared server - who need it). Or for that matter control panels. Just adds more points for people to try and get in.

Obviously the Wordpress doesn't provide the API access, but the point is, if you can't use a "One minute install" tool securely, what is the hope that your API is safe to integrate with? Have an opinioin

This kind of vulnerability is clearly showing the level of the guys behind this API and the fact that they don't have the security in mind. When you found an issue like this there are probably more things to find
