Hi my #Indian friends 👋! Let me show you how to bypass the password protection set up by @UIDAI and @KhoslaLabs in the #Aadhaar #Android app. In less than 1 minute, an attacker can access your #Aadhaar informations without having your password #AadhaarFailpic.twitter.com/ONkrbfiNbK

The fake news you're propagating is "the password protection set up by @UIDAI and @KhoslaLabs in the #Aadhaar #Android app" is vulnerable Once again, Khosla Labs did not set up mAadhaar and it has nothing to do with any vulnerable android or iOS applications.

I never said there's no relation between Aadhaar and Khosla Labs. I'm proud of how we were able to attract many talented people from @UIDAI who decided to leave public service!

The same article you keep mentioning from 2015 also refers to several other companies that were able to attract veterans of government agencies like @UIDAI. Since then several other companies have gotten started and poached talent from @KhoslaLabs. Why are you singling us out?

Devices can be rooted easily once stolen. An authentication system should withstand any type of scrutiny, even if it's internal working is publicly known and as long as the secret passphrase (or password) is not known. The mAadhar app is BROKEN #Aadhar

There are ways to bypass the Android lock screen as well. Very few phones run Android versions that are still supported with security patches. There are known attacks against Android version 5 and earlier

Totally agree with bypass mechanisms buddy. But today, specially after 5.0 it became harder and harder. Though difficulty may vary OEM to OEM. But i assure, its is difficult.

Yes. Anyone, on their phone, get the app, open it, modify it, repack & start using the app. No digital signature (pls see @fs0c131y 's earlier threads). Which means..anyone can print anyone's Aadhhar (which anyway @UIDAI is making it possible for 800 INR, download all info..etc)
