<Thread> Hi @Oneplus! Every time I boot my #Oneplus5, a HTTP POST request to http://apiinit.amap.com/v3/log/init is made. This request contains a timestamp and the code of the sending app.pic.twitter.com/7TEDCoMqTs

Thanks Elliot, fascinating. I'd like to know exactly what data is sent at boot. Can and individual be identified from it?
As said in the thread, there is no personal data in the request. However, as this request is made after each boot it indicate to AutoNavi when the @Oneplus user boot his phone
Thanks Elliot. I read the thread but you said no sensitive data, which is not the same as personal data. I was interested if an individual could be identified from the data. Perhaps the mechanism of how Autonavi are made aware of the boot could give this away?
I have a one plus, if I get time over Christmas I'll take a look and report back. Thanks for the tweet.
Cool, keep me updated!
