As said in the thread, there is no personal data in the request. However, as this request is made after each boot it indicate to AutoNavi when the

Thanks Elliot. I read the thread but you said no sensitive data, which is not the same as personal data. I was interested if an individual could be identified from the data. Perhaps the mechanism of how Autonavi are made aware of the boot could give this away?

amap is a bloatware app. Some Chinese tend to delete it and install baidu maps. Trusty ol' baidu
