Hi @xiaomi

This application is monitoring among other things Bluetooth, boot, broadcast, package, screen on events. Of course, all this data is sent to a China server.pic.twitter.com/vn2WVj7d5X

Everytime an event is send, they add the device, carrier, region, android version, model, miui version, miui version type,...and the IMEI.

To check if you have this app: open Settings -> Apps -> Menu -> Show system apps and search MiuiDaemon (com.miui.daemon) in the app list to check
So @xiaomi I have some questions:
- Why this super intrusive app is present in an user build?
- Do you really need all this data?
- Any way to opt out from this data collection?
There is clearly a lot to find in this app. It's cleary worth a deep analysis. If you have reverse skills, download the firmware, reverse this app and share with the world your results! http://en.miui.com/download-326.html …
