I found a way to become root on the @WikoMobile View Prime:
- compose *#*#84666364#*#* (this launches TinnoEngineerMode)
- go to "Tinno Debug Feature"
- tap on "persist.tinno.debug" and choose 1
=> You're rootpic.twitter.com/c5guF5bn0P

I have noticed something interesting. Since I became root, now after each reboot (root or not), all my packages are sent to this url: http://fans.jstinno.com/uploadapk/web/ApkPermissionAction!relsync.action … (but with no other information than a "lastSyncDate").
Also, this request http://ota.tinno.com/tinnoota/checkversion … is made to check if an update is available, but with these parameters:

But IMEI

What phone would you recommend for a beginner that is cheap & guaranteed easy root. I can't brick another device or someone will be rather unhappy with me ;-) I'm happy to try & source used devices. Any advice REALLY appreciated.
Go with Nexus
Is it 100% I ask as I've had two phones that were recommended that turned out not to be rootable because they were the wrong build number, to new, or what have you. eg the new Blu R1 HD is unrootable.
Blu is a piece of shit dude , go with Nexus rooted smoothly and great performance
But which exact model, version, etc as I've found if someone says "just get any Chinese phone" or any "Samsung" they're not necessarily rootable. I can't make another expensive mistake.
Nexus 5 is good enough , root easy and stable phone
OK - That's what I'll head for - any particular tutorial that you can link to?
Or XDAdevelopers
Win. Btw, variations of this are a common feature on quite a few Chinese phones.
Hey Elliot ! thanks again for this sharing ! heu ... havn't you the same for my wiko fever under 6.0 ? thx !
This device( ATLAS TAB A909 )runs android jellybeans and I did a lot but it won't root , it's a piece of real anti-root shit lol
Awesome work! Any chance for you to find such exploits for recent Xperia devices? The guys over at XDA (me included) would love you for that!
