Braintree SDK checks for SU. It could possibly be a resource killer. https://github.com/braintree/braintree_android …pic.twitter.com/xFVPNmlsIw
It seems they don't use the latest version of the Braintree SDK. In the app, the isDeviceRooted method is in AnalyticsIntentService but in Github version it's in http://AnalyticsSender.java

Yeah. That's a common issue. Outdated libraries.
Yep. As far I understand the isDeviceRooted method is only use by Braintree SDK and send to their serverpic.twitter.com/CkBgTwJ9Cr
On the other hand, Fabric SDK is doing lighter SU checks io/fabric/sdk/android/services/common/CommonUtils;->isRooted
Paypal Android SDK is making some superuser stuff in http://com.paypal.android .sdk.onetouch.core.metadata too
Not everything is available on the github Braintree SDK page. Why the package com/paypal/android/sdk/onetouch/core/metadata is missing?pic.twitter.com/Y8cclGyeQQ
