Is there some @oppo phone users here? You will be perfect if you can send me the EngineerMode.odex file located in /system/app/EngineerMode/oat/arm/. Accrding to the 1st sample I had, there is 99% chance you have the backdoor too

Sorry guys after code review I didn't find the backdoor in @OPPO devices. However I find an interesting intent. Someone can try: adb shell am broadcast -a android.intent.action.LOCKSREEN_ENGINEERINGMODE?

I looked around on a LG G6 and there is no trace of EngineerMode, which means that its definitely possible for OEMs to do that and some seem to be aware that you shouldn't ship this apk in production

I think this is going to affect all phones using @Qualcomm parts...

        Maybe some OEM disabled it

Hopefully, there are just so many manufacturers using @Qualcomm components...i mean they're very good components but now the software "has failed"...if you can say so

I think Vivo phones might also have it. As OPPO, Vivo, OnePlus belong to same parent company.

From a quick poke around today after your tweets, I've noticed that most qualcomm devices have it, amd same passwords, seems to be bit of a theme going on
