In my opinion, a hacker is someone who tries to understand the world around him. Ex: - What is the zip file? - How to build a roof? - How many people are involved in the operation of an airport?

Instead of being a user, understand what you are doing, what you are using. You will see the life differently.

That's true for researchers and learners too. I would add that a hacker enjoys not respecting the original intented use / behaviour, but finds creativ and unexpected way of using or modyfing the things he understood.

Hackers learn by observing and doing. And most of it is uncharted territory, so a map .. idk man .. does anyone have a map of a curious mind ?

But you do start somewhere, don't you? I agree on the observing & doing - the best way to learn anything. But, WHAT do you observe in this case?
