Do European embassies follow GDPR ? most of them crying foul on Indian sites queue up to give biometrics, and all private information to consulates for trips. Do they have a choice to withdraw if their visa is rejected? GDPR there?

Privacy is new.... Lol. Visit the western world before coming to this conclusion. India is much more matured when it comes to security. Are there any loopholes in the way Aadhar is being handled. Sure. There could be. It can be discussed and improved.

You are missing the point. "Innocent until proven Guilty" is turned on its head in case of Aadhar and "All are Guilty until proven Innocent". This is unconstitutional. It's not just about data. Profiling of citizens doesn't happen by accident.
