        People in public domain talking about privacy? Does he use not use Google services, Facebook etc. Or he use tail OS/ Tor to be secure. At least Elliott is not using a profile which can link him/her to an individual. I think you should promote how to be safe on internet.

        Yeah, I agree and that is the case with all software or Identity ID's app i.e. they do ask for consent. So, not sure what is the hue and cry about. Besides, we have additional level of security on Android/ iOS devices i.e. we can control the access given to apps.

        Yes u can and this is not entirely about that. This is about how the data obtained thru the access u have granted is used. If u see the full video you'll see that the hue & cry is about the fact that we don't hav a proper drafted law guardian data privacy.

        Also, for the part where u say u can control access to data for apps, pls note that this isn't entirely true. U only get to grant or deny those permissions which the app is programmed to be asking u for. FYI there have been cases of apps collecting data without permission too.
