In order to try it, I bought a 1 month license of @jebdec. It’s pretty expensive. Is it really worth it? Why? cc @jcase @RedNagaSec @enovella_

I’m really considering to buy a 1 year license. According to you what is the killer feature?

Depends a lot on what your are focused on. Is there any company you work for that would buy it for you? I use JEB2 and JADX equally. Decompilation-wise JEB2 might be more mature. JEB2 is ida-like but native decompiler is useless IMHO.

Ok, interesting point of view. I used to use jadx a lot too not sure how jeb2 can be beneficial for me

If your use is occasional & on std code, free tools can do. If you deal with all sort of code, small or large, malware or obfuscated, high vol., need reliable, flexible output (on much more than Android files btw - see the website), then JEB will help you :) we have free demos!

Only worth it if you like the tool and want to use it. Personally I already owned IDA and didn't want to bother paying for another tool, especially one that is subscription based
