This doesn't set a default number of CMs, or say whether the number can be picked by ordinance or referendum.

House Majority Leader William Lamberth and Sen. Bo Watson filed legislation this afternoon to shrink Metro governments to a max of 20 reps (i.e. targeting Nashville's 40-member council). There are no specifics on at-large members or how this impacts the 2023 elections.
