Azealia Banks is NOT jealous of Cardi B, she’s upset that people are making Cardi B “the queen of rap” and making it seem like she is the quintessential black female rapper when she is not.

Cardi is cute and a good person and whatnot, but she is not a rapper. She is not an artist. And it’s painful to see this once internet/TV personality ‘take the throne’ of female rap when she hasn’t put in the work that the other have put in to get to where they are

I’ll say this... Cardi got on love and hip hop then decided she wanted to make music, so people started writing for her, Atlantic paid for her music to pop off, and now she’s successful. Azealia came in the game after being homeless, dealing with mental illnesses...

Writing her own music, trying to make it big with something that she’s passionate about. Azealia has been assaulted several times, blackballed, raped, suffered a miscarriage, dealt with her mental illnesses all while STILL working her fucking ass off making music
