If you died on 9/11 you get memorialized forever. If you die of COVID, you get tossed in a refrigerator truck and memory-holed so people will keep going to Applebee's.

We are destroying our health care and educational systems at the same time to mollify people who believe in the Rapture.

250,000 US school children were infected in the past month, because conservatives perpetrate lies of children faring better with Sars-cov-2, when none of us know the long term ramifications of infection. 10

My baby brother was 16. He got the shit kicked out of him at school that week. Got called names I won't repeat here. Reconciling that with the news stories of unity and patriotism was...

Remembering 9/11 means remembering that our country makes mistakes, especially when we're angry. There were voices after 9/11 calling for calm and speaking out against war. They were mocked, harassed, and ignored. We should remember that they were right.

I'll Never Forget the way they bragged that they would create their own reality, and then proved it. I'll Never Forget how proud they were of making us a country that tortures. I'll Never Forget how lie led to lie led to lie, but never to consequences.

From left to right, Donald Rumsfeld, George W. Bush, and Dick Cheney, with their hands over what I suppose we have to call their "hearts."

The final act of the U.S. war in Afghanistan was a drone strike in Kabul that killed 10 people. Our latest investigation shows how a man the military saw as an "imminent threat" and "ISIS facilitator" was actually an aid worker returning to his family:

The morning of 9/11, my political science professor made me leave class so the other students could "grieve and process safely". I was 18 and living away from my parents for the first time. Yeah, I’ll never forget.

We should remember 9/11 because it shows us the evil we can commit when we're unified in anger and stupidity. It shows us the damage we can do when we rally around the flag and take leave of our senses.

Yes, we should remember 9/11. Because we should remember that when we were attacked, we lashed out at the world like a spoiled rotten child. We "unified" around supporting a moronic President and pretended shopping was patriotic.

It also means remembering that the Democratic party completely folded when we needed them most, with all but one brave Representative voting to give the President a war we never should have fought.

Remembering 9/11 means remembering that our country killed countless Iraqis that had nothing to do with it, and then we spent 20 years being an occupying force in Afghanistan, creating another generation of people with good reason to hate America.

"The expectation of privacy has changed since then" is a great example of Silicon Valley Bubblethink. They think it's true because they want it to be true. It's not true.

Remember when we all laughed about the Jewish space lasers? Remember the funny lawyer and her funny belief in demon sperm? Ha ha ha, right? It’s all so funny until you realize how many people don’t think they’re jokes.
