A quid pro quo with a foreign leader *for the benefit of the United States* is, of course, both appropriate & common. But that just brings us back to whether Trump was using U.S. influence to benefit the U.S., or to benefit himself.

Sure - investigating Cloudstrike, an American company with a Russian born American CEO, in Ukraine makes total sense. Trump says they "brought the server to Ukraine" - no part of that has any relation to the truth and it honestly doesn't even make any sense.

Correct, they investigated a conspiracy hoax. If Trump’s DOJ investigation of the how the hoax started includes Ukraine, I’m okay with that. Most likely to involve other players than Crowdstrike, but still doesn’t hurt to ask.
